DAPA Winter 2009 Meeting

Some 30 attendees met at the University of Delaware on February 26, 2009, to hear Paul Posner, professor and director of George Mason University’s MPA program and president-elect of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), speak about changes at ASPA and participate on a panel to discuss the role of transition teams.

Guest panelists included Tom McGonigle, Delaware Governor Jack Markell’s Chief of Staff, Jennifer Davis, University of Delaware Vice-President of Administration (and former Director of the state’s Office of Management and Budget), and Posner. University faculty member Ed Freel moderated the discussion.
